This special workshop is led by Mr. Nakamura, an ikebana artist trained in the Koryu school, a traditional form of ikebana that dates back to the 1760s.

Program Details:

1. Ikebana Demonstration
Enjoy a demonstration by Mr. Nakamura as he creates a beautiful ikebana arrangement.

2. Fieldwork in Nature
Explore Japan’s lush woodlands and gather plants ideal for ikebana (Fieldwork is subject to cancellation in case of rain).

3. Ikebana Creation Experience
Under Mr. Nakamura’s guidance, create your own original ikebana arrangement using the plants you have collected.

4. In-Room Display
Your ikebana arrangement will be displayed in your guest room, allowing you to enjoy the harmony between your creation and the space during your stay (Flower containers are not available for take-home).
